The history behind our floors

How it all began

In 2008, Lui set out to build a flooring company that people could trust. Starting with a mentor, a small circle of family support, and a lot of long days, he learned every step of the flooring process from the ground up. What began in a small operation quickly grew into a brand known for quality, honesty, and the kind of service that makes choosing floors feel easy. Through steady growth and constant refinement, Northernest evolved into a full flooring partner—bringing together thoughtful design, rigorous testing, and craftsmanship that respects the material.
