AZURE SKY

Despite its name, Azure Sky stays wonderfully versatile: pale natural oak kissed with a whisper of cool grey. Airy and sun-washed, it lifts small rooms and hallways, pairing beautifully with white walls and light, linen-toned textiles.

Daily / Weekly Care

Dry sweep, use a microfiber dust mop, or vacuum using a hard-floor setting
(no beater bar).

Damp-mop with a pH-neutral vinyl or LVP cleaner only.
Avoid soap-based or abrasive cleaning products.

Spills & Stains

Wipe spills promptly. For scuffs, use a soft white pad with a diluted neutral cleaner.

Avoid acetone, wax, steam mops, and oil soaps.

Furniture & Floor Protection

Use felt pads under all furniture feet and wide, non-staining casters where applicable.

Place non-rubber-backed entry mats at doors to trap grit, and use breathable area rugs.

Climate Conditions

Maintain normal lived-in conditions: approximately 18–27 °C (65–80 °F)
and 30–60% relative humidity. Large fluctuations may stress a floating floor.

What to Avoid

Do not wet-mop or allow standing water. Avoid floor polish, wax,
or placing high-heat appliances directly on the surface.

Protect flooring from prolonged direct sunlight using blinds or shades
to minimize discoloration.

Acclimation

24–48 hours in unopened boxes, stored in room conditions prior to installation.

Subfloor Requirements

Subfloor must be flat within ≤3 mm over 3 m (≤1/8″ over 10′), clean, and dry.
Use a vapour retarder only where specified by the product guidelines.

Installation Methods

Floating installation only (click-lock system). Do not glue down unless the specific SKU explicitly allows it.

Expansion Gap

Maintain approximately ¼″ expansion space at all vertical obstructions.
Door jambs should be undercut to allow proper movement.

Transitions

Use T-molds at doorways or when installation runs exceed manufacturer span limits.
Leave expansion breaks between separately controlled rooms.

Radiant Heat Compatibility

Radiant heat systems should be brought up gradually.
Maximum surface temperature must follow product specifications (commonly 27–29 °C / 80–85 °F).
