Damp clean: Well-wrung microfiber + pH-neutral hardwood cleaner; no steam.
Protect: Felt pads, soft casters, breathable mats (avoid rubber backs).
Spills: Wipe promptly; keep pet bowls on trays.
Seasonal: Maintain 35–55 % RH; use humidification/dehumidification as needed.
Refresh: When traffic patterns appear, schedule a professional screen & re-coat; full sanding/refinish is possible when desired.

Construction & Installation

Acclimation: 5–7 days in the finished space, cartons loose-opened; HVAC running.
Subfloor: Wood only (plywood/OSB), dry and flat (≤3/16″ over 10′); within 3 % MC of flooring.
Method: Nail or nail-and-glue assist; leave ~½″ expansion at all fixed edges.
Layout: Rack from multiple boxes; stagger end joints ≥6″ (150 mm).
Not for concrete slabs or below-grade areas—use engineered there.
